Eventually he would become part of the investment team at the leading investment bank Lehman Brothers. By his thirty second birthday, Stephen was already on the board of directors. Stephen A. Schwarzman served as an adjunct professor at the highly esteemed Yale School of Business Management as well as offering his patronage to many charities, educational programs, and the arts. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the JFK Center for the Performing Arts in New York, NY. On top of all that, he told the public in March of 2008 that he had contributed $100 million to the New York Public Library to help them expand. Stephen is also one of the trustees of the library.
